Adventure at the Indoor Playground in Singapore

Research says that children involved in creativity in their early years tend to become successful financial adults. Consistent stopping can hinder their creative process as they explore and play to learn. Taking kids to the indoor playgrounds in Singapore provides a free and safe place for parents to stay relaxed and sets kids free to explore the world so they can become better adults in the future.

This is how Pororo Park’s adventure got started. With two boys 28 years apart (a father and son duo), and the youngest one a powerhouse of energy, I needed a safe place to take both kids where they could run through their energy and I would relax and be able to enjoy their fun- filled day from afar. As the little one started to walk (and run!), he and his dad had the energy of a hungry lion who was chasing its prey.

The youngest child in our house needs more and more physical activity so he can get tired easily and get his rest, while at the same time experiencing and learning from the activities of the day. Toddlers at this age lack in most of the areas that require them to play sports. They should plan fun activities that help them develop the motor skills they will need in life.

For this reason, I was in search of a better place to take my son, where he could play in a safe and pleasant environment. I started to look at multiple indoor playgrounds in Singapore, and then I found the website for Pororo Park. It’s a theme-based indoor playground with multiple energy-burning activities for my kids. We planned a family indoor playground trip and also invited my sister and her son along.

Relaxing Mode for Both

I found this indoor playground in Singapore to be perfect. Because the play area they have designed is not just for the kids, it’s built keeping in mind that the parents can also have fun with their little ones and at the same time keep them safe. The special thing I like about this indoor playground in Singapore is that they don’t encourage junk food on the way in or out.

There were no junk food displays that caused some sort of meltdown. While designing, they focus on the safety of children. I find all the sharp corners covered and cushioned! For children, researchers declare that childhood creativity in art and craft leads to financial success in adulthood.

According to a study, a proper indoor playground for toddlers helps them in their emotional and physical development, which tends to follow these 5 basic activities.

1. Engage In Active Play

The indoor playgrounds in Singapore, like Pororo or Tayo, exclusively pay attention to the space where the children can play in the ball pit, climb up the slides, pass the parcel with soft toys, etc. Children will find toddler swings and toddler slides to be so entertaining that they won't be aware that they are learning as they play. This is a great option for toddler motion development because it will involve the use of both their brain and several different body parts.

2. Practice Multiple Movements

According to Dr. Hirmani Narula, a developmental and behavioral pediatrician, toddlers need to learn movements like sitting, squatting, and standing. They need to practice these movements safely and freely, without the hesitation of their parents that their kids might get hurt.

As a parent myself, whenever my little one runs around in the house, I remind him, again and again, to be careful and don’t get hurt. However, Dr. Sears writes in his book, The Discipline Book: How to Have a Better Behaved Child From Birth to Age Ten, that this act of parenting eventually may build fear in children and stop them from trying new things.

The best indoor playground in Singapore, like Pororo, is designed with a safe, bigger play gym and an obstacle course where the kid needs to use their body and mind to solve the obstacle to escape from it.

3. Choice of Thoughtful Activity

A great way to work on a child's mental and physical development is through toys. Ammy Web, a Ph.D. and a mother of two, shares in her parenting and child development information that parents need to choose toys carefully for their growing bundle of joy. That’s another reason why I took my little one to the indoor playground in Singapore.

The park is well occupied with a choice of toys like a small basketball and a Hinoki pit, along with a ball pit area with a screen where a kid can aim and hit the target in a video game area. Although it may not seem like much, the development of fine motor skills is related to cognitive development.

4. Practice Walking

Some children need a push and encouragement to learn simple things like walking or standing. In my case, thanks to God, my kid started walking when he was just 11 months old. But my sister’s kid is a year and 11 months old, and he still needs the push to walk or stand. In my experience, this is the safest and nicest area to encourage him to walk, stand, or crawl, as there are many things that he gets attracted to and tries to grab, like the slides, soft toys, toy trucks, and characters crew. His favorite place was the supermarket, where he was walking with the support of a trolley and also selecting many colorful fruits and veggies.

5. Encourage them to Explore

Children's minds are like new pages of their lives every day. According to KidsHealth, children tend to learn something new every day. Like, one day they try to turn on their side; the next day they are trying to crawl, stand, walk, run, and so on. Similarly, when a baby's mind starts to focus, they explore and want to experience and explore everything.

This develops the five main senses in the baby.

• Sense of Sight

• Sense of Smell

• Sense of Touch

• Sense of Hear

• Sense of Taste

Indoor playgrounds in Singapore are also equipped with a mini train for kids to explore and enjoy the view. Merry go round, Mini race track, and Pororo house with kitchen dining bedroom to play and explore. All children learn according to their strengths and pace. Do not force your child to learn a skill quickly. But as a parent, you can find ways to encourage them to develop skills on their own while they are also having fun. Always remember, anything that is practiced with fun and enjoyment is always better than getting stressed about the child's development.

Make the activities for you and your baby fun; don’t make them hard for them and yourself.
